He was a guy who grew up in Buffalo, moved to San Francisco in the 70s like Oliver Sipple.
And in 1982, he died of AIDS.
This music was released posthumously by the label Dark Entries.
We're super grateful to them and to Patrick Cowley, wherever he is, for the use of his music.

A few of the people in this story have passed away since we first released this episode.
Last year, Sarah Jane Moore, the woman who tried to assassinate President Ford, died at a nursing facility in Tennessee.
She was 95.
In 2020, Bud Lemke, the longtime LA Times reporter, died.
He was 98.
And our actor Gordon Pinsent, reading Wayne Friday's transcript at the end there, also passed away in 2023 at the age of 92.
