uh around the sort of like early parts of the hype cycle in 2017 when it went from like a few thousand to twenty thousand or whatever at some point i got wind of it from a co-worker and was like okay you know i don't really get this but like internet money that makes sense and like it's increasing in popularity yeah that seems poised to continue i don't see any reason like why it wouldn't and obviously it's like a risky thing but like sure i'll put a little bit of money into it and like really just a very little bit yeah

kind of wrote it all the way up and probably bought some more on the way up and wrote it all the way down.

And I think I came out of that cycle kind of like net even.

And then it was in 2019 when I quit banking and I just had the time to sort of like explore my interests.

I got really into crypto.

I got really into longevity and, you know, some other things.

And that was when I decided like,

okay, this is super interesting.

I'm going to really get involved and align myself financially with my conviction in this thing and also align myself in terms of just the time I spend and learning about it and talking with people in the space and everything like that.

And now I'm actually building something really for the first time in crypto that I'm excited to get out there in the next few weeks or something like that.

So it's been a fun ride, but I'm definitely in it now.
