And then other people started validating transactions with their computer.
You know, you could do it with a PC back in 2010.
And then when they got enough, there was network effects where they got enough people on there.
To be able to rug people like that, you've either got to get it listed on a DEX, which is a decentralized exchange like Polkadot.
There's some other ones out there that have gained a lot of liquidity.
They're a decentralized marketplace for crypto.
That's much easier to list your crypto on there than it is to actually get it listed on a real exchange like a Binance or Bybit or Upbit exchange.
Kraken, Uphold, Coinbase, there's lots of exchanges out there globally.
But that's where you really get the upside is if you can get listed on there, there's going to be a lot of people that find it and invest in it.
So you have to have some connections to be able to get that done.
And there has to be enough liquidity in the token before they'll even look at it at this point.
Used to, it was a lot easier to be able to launch a token than during the ICO boom, which was an initial coin offering, kind of like an IPO, but it's an ICO.
There were lots of people that launched tokens and gained a lot of liquidity very quickly because people were speculating.
And then after everything blew up in 22,
Everybody pulled back on that.
And now they don't know if there are securities offerings or, you know, there's just a lot of gray area there.
So I've seen, you know, more people stay away from that because, you know, the juice may not be worth the squeeze at this point.
And again, like I mentioned, you know, there's over 50,000 of these.
And I think 100 will probably be what's available after the long-term adoption of this.
