So years ago, I'm talking season two of New Girl.

Trent O'Donnell, our producing director, goes like, I think there's a video that you're going to love.

It's called Spits.

It's probably one of the craziest little short videos of all time, but it's about a boy and his dad and Aaron's the boy.

And they have a dog.

And Aaron's character finds it really funny to spit on the dog's head.

And the dad goes like, what are you doing?

Don't spit on the dog's head.

And Aaron goes like, he doesn't know.

He's just a dog.

Spits is a human thing.

And the dad's like, it's wrong to spit on it.

And as I was watching it, I was like, what am I, an acid?

and they play it so real and he's like he's i'm not doing anything wrong and the dad's like stop it whatever he yells scolds his son his son goes inside and then the dad spits on the dog's head and realizes that like the dog doesn't know spits are a human thing and truly as dumb as they get but it brought me so much joy yeah

Years later, we're putting together Dink and his character of PJ is like my sidekick who's always with me, who thinks I'm the man.

And he's the breakout funny role.

And we were trying to cast it.

And it was really hard to cast because it was written as Sean's like, when Sean does bits, he's that character.

So it was perfectly written.

Every time he would add like, yes, sir, my king.
