Um
And that's not like a perfect system, but Apple
They s what what are they actually doing here?
Do we know yet?
Uh uh because they said there's literally a di a digital negative that will prove out the uh the veracity of your photo, which I do think may actually be taking this to an uh another level beyond what we've seen from other manufacturers.
I get the impression there's like a very small contingent of people who care very deeply about building these features and they're fighting the good fight.
Like i this stuff is.
crucially important in a world where you can prompt anything and have it generate very quickly.
And right now, I think it still feels so intangible in some ways because for the most part, a photo, you you can you can tell what's happening and and that's not where the this this metadata often gets stripped as it gets uploaded to different platforms and shared around.
I think that is one of the bigger problems.
Um, Apple's ability to I think give you that additional layer of evidence and proof.
It's gonna be fascinating to see that play out.
And if if that's something that people are actually able to lean on and rely on, um I agree.
That's I that's like quietly one of the bigger deals of the software features announced at this event.
that is that's really fascinating.
That it is a hardware level authentication.
I mean, in that case, this seems like something that is potentially going to be something that we'll have to see if the industry adopts that kind of technology spreads.
Um that that sounds uh that I mean that is kind of the level of uh veracity.
you need in order to prove that this stuff is real.
Um and we saw Apple kind of pulling those sort of like we're doing specialized, you know, coprocessors um throughout its devices uh today, as it talked about privacy and security.
