And you really can make a huge impact on that by providing them a CGM so they can learn about how the different foods and activities affect their levels, their glucose levels, so that we can either stop or really slow down that progression towards diabetes.
Well, I think we certainly see people that use sensors once per quarter, particularly with Stello.
But the exciting thing about Stello is it's been a great opportunity to kind of learn how people want to use CGM in a non-reimbursed environment.
What we do see, though, is those that have diabetes, even not taking insulin, benefit greatly from continuous use of the sensors and not just one per quarter because it really – there's the component of learning that's at first where you're really educating yourself on the different food choices and lifestyle choices and habits that you have and how it impacts your glucose.
you start making changes, the CGM shows you how those things are changing.
The other amazing thing continuous glucose monitor does is it shows you the effectiveness of whatever glucose lowering medication you might be on, whether you're on a GLP-1.
Now we have the oral GLP-1s coming out or metformin, SGLT-2s.
There's so many different options for treatment of type 2 diabetes.
And so the CGM really shows you the effectiveness of that medication when you do take it.
And so
adherence is better.
The other thing too is there's an accountability component of wearing a CGM continuously for yourself as well as anybody who happens to be following you with our remote monitoring system.
And so it is across the board, in all the studies we've ever run, whether it was type 1, type 2, and now we're in the midst of running a large type 2 study for non-insulin users, we see the patients get the most benefit when they use the sensors continuously.
Yeah.
That being said, it's really about choice.
And so users can choose to use them, you know, as frequently or less frequently as they want.
I do see an opportunity for there to be check-ins.
I mean, we also see a lot of stello users who don't have diabetes using it.
Some use it continuously.
A lot of the others just kind of try it out.
