With somebody like a spy novel, like Ian Fleming or La Care, for example, the setting in

Tinker's Taylor Soldier Spy is this kind of generic oh, it's London and there's a mole.

In other words, the setting, if you will, is more internal in the character's mind.

You gotta figure out who the mole is.

Is that in a category like a spy or a mystery or something, do they have do they know too much about their

characters the way you're talking.

That was the thing about when you were talking about Dublin and Kingston that I thought was interesting is oh there's like a colonial empire or imperial overlay.
