We know Jurgen obviously used to, if it was a night kick-off, train the night before at that exact time.

So there'll be loads of things that maybe he can kind of pick the brains of other players who've been around there and kind of maybe forge his own ideas.

I think if you lay the foundations early, as Ian was saying then, once you get to the business end of the season, you are playing three games a week, you're up at 21-22, everyone's bouncing into the ground, and it's not like, I'm not saying it's muscle memory and it becomes a walking apart, but you talk about the end of last season when the team weren't playing well and the fans maybe weren't onside, it's like the chicken and the egg thing, it's like which one should come first, but

I think if you are winning on kind of multiple fronts, it becomes a hell of a lot easier, doesn't it?

Because you want to bounce into the press room and you're ready for the next game.

The fans are coming in and, you know, OK, you might have a slow start.

I mean, I think it was 21, 22, well, Liverpool went through that period towards the end of the season where they're going to see them first every week.

But the fans kept lifting them and you think you kind of find that energy to go again.

So I think, you know, we can set a foundation now.

And there's a lot of talk about that.

I listened to a podcast a few months ago with Semenya and he was saying,

When Nariola first came into Bournemouth, he was really rigorous with that kind of like the first kind of eight weeks.

And I don't think he won until his eighth game in the Premier League, did he?

Yeah, and it was kind of that thing of he was just kind of meticulously going through it, like this will work, this will pay off.

And eventually those foundations paid off and Bournemouth had, you know, two or three really incredible seasons.

So I suppose if the club, you know, set him up now, between now and the start of the season, you know, whether that be facilitating him with signings and what he needs, you'd hopefully imagine that those foundations can get set for a successful season.
