you know, there've been a lot of change at Liverpool over the last year.

So I don't think it's any surprise that maybe he does want to bide his time a little bit, just see, you know, does the new manager, you know, rate him, what are his minutes going to be like, where's he playing?

Um, but I think also his stock has has changed over the last year.

He's become you know, the back of that Newcastle goal so early on, he's become far more prominent than, you know, when he signed for Liverpool as a fifteen, sixteen year olds.

He's probably f a lot further on in his development than

at 18 than he thought he'd be or you know probably the one of the best case scenarios really.

Um so it's it's no surprise that, you know, normally what happens is when um they sign their first professional deal at 17, they will map out the terms they will sign a year later on a longer deal.

But as I say, because of his stocks change, the teams change, the managers change, you know, even the sporting directors change, I don't think it's a a huge surprise that it's it's maybe

No, but for for him I mean again if we're going long term and and you'd imagine to sign a five year deal, you know, you just had Bradley Bach all the walk through the door for a hundred and forty million pounds, which one of the big reasons yeah, one of the uh one of the big the big things that was highlighted when Engamoa came to Liverpool was that he believed in the pathway far more than than Chelsea's.

Yeah.

So obviously at the minute we're saying it's great that he's on the pitch, it's gonna make him a better player, but long term I'm sure he still sees himself on the left.

I mean, he might have thought that Gakpo was going.

So that's obviously something that could just change last minute.

So there's all these little things that can add up and and maybe just make him want to buy I mean, he's in no rush.
