If you can tell me I can get a double digit round wide receiver with the potential for 100 targets, that's a handful of people.
And this is one of the ones that falls into that handful.
And it's Josh Downs, who did it two years ago.
And the reason I bring up two years ago is because two years ago, with just barely over 100 targets, 10 and a half fantasy points per game, which, by the way, most year, 10 and a half fantasy points per game checks you in as a solid wide receiver three.
Worst case scenario, you're usually wide receiver 35, 36.
And I'm looking at this roster and yeah, I do like Tyler Warren, too.
But if Daniel Jones is anything healthy to start this year, it's one of the three options is Josh Downs.
And it's going to be, in my opinion, a very narrowed target share between Pierce, Downs and Warren.
And you also have the upside here of this late offseason injury news to Al Pierce becomes a factor early in the year.
And down starts off the year's potential.
Hey, he's the target leader with Tyler Warren.
And all of a sudden, guess what?
You got a great trade chip on your hand because you can get off of them before out Pierce is 100 percent where like, oh, my God, if if Josh Downs starts off as a top 25 wide receiver, you sell high immediately.
Let me make that clear.
But that's the upside potential to boot on top of it.
Yeah, Jonathan Brooks, and I know everybody out there at this point in the comments is going to be like, man, we keep talking about him on this channel.
But it really just comes down to the upside.
If he's anything close to 100%, he could take this job by midseason.
If he climbs up to the eighth round, I can understand pulling off of him.
It's just really the truth about how much the value is there right now.
