But this year was fun.
It was very unique because of the dynamic that we had in our quarterback room with having a Super Bowl winning champ and having a first round pick and having myself who threw for a gazillion yards.
So, starting off with Russ being a starter, man, literally I'm just like, I just remember the day like the back of my hand where I'm excited, like just signed with the New York Football Giants.
Two weeks later, I see Russ, big smile.
Yeah.
I'm like, what?
Russ?
I already know they're going to draft a young kid.
Now I got to go through him.
And then training camp gets here.
Dave gives him the position.
And to see how Russ and Jackson were just being nurtured in this system where I'm just like, man, me and Tommy DeVito, who's with the Patriots now, I'm just like, man, am I going to get enough reps?

Jackson is a young rookie, so he's learning the offense.
So it's not enough reps for everybody in training camp.

I remember reading Tom Brady's novel with his sports psychiatrist in Michigan, where Tom was talking about his opportunity at Michigan as the backup.

And then eventually he ended up overtaking the starting position next year, starting to lead them to win the Rose Bowl.
Right.
