the other I mean the other ways I mean people trying to treat them like they were conkers was the issue I think yes so Joanna putting it in the freezer which I think people used to do for conkers yeah and then Armando put it in the oven which people definitely used to do for conkers as well did you play conkers when you were a kid

I spent so long trying to work out how to treat conkers and stuff.

I remember my friend did scoop out the middle, put poly filler in and then put it back together and paint it brown.

Sort of what like Joanna did.

Well, it just came off the string, I think.

But also the rules at our school were, and I'm sure in many schools, were that if your conker got knocked off, then the whole school could stomp on it.

So it would turn into this stampede.

People just stamping on a conker till it was paste.

I've not heard of that.

Yeah, it was very violent.

So yeah, Joel does the PVA glue route.
