And you would have loved the top.

Actually, the top had a burnt caramel flavour to it.

It wasn't...

I get disappointed with creme brulees if the top is just a bit too nothing-y because they don't want to go too big on the burnt flavour on the top if they think it will put people off.

But I want it to be that you get a proper crack when you hit it with a spoon and that you get that burnt flavour to it.
