I have weighed in on the Senate race up in Michigan.

Yeah, I want to ask about that too.

I have been working with Haley Stevens ever since she's been in the Congress.

We co-chair a task force dealing with manufacturing.

She is the person that's my go-to person when it comes to working with Scout Motors, who just came to Columbia, South Carolina, and is going to build Volkswagen, going to hire 6,000 people.

I can walk to that plant from my house.

And she has been the go-to person.

So I'm supposed to say to her, she's running for the Senate, oh, this guy that you're running against is somebody I heard about, somebody I have never seen, somebody, as far as I'm concerned, he's never made one single contribution to the constituents up there.

And when I talk to African-Americans up in Detroit,

They all tell me how great Haley Stevens is, but you people who want to talk about some notion you got saying I should stay out of the race.

No.

So what are you saying?

Okay.

If you told me you were running for office, I would say, good luck to you.

Well, I'm not paying attention to that.

I got 90%.

I just ran for re-election.

I got 90%.
