House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer says next week the committee will mark up legislation to hold both former President Bill Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in contempt of Congress.
It comes in response to both Clintons not showing up for a deposition as part of the committee's investigation into the late convicted sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein.
A lawyer for the Clintons says the former first family has provided all the information they have on Epstein and the subpoenas serve no legislative purpose.
