According to DHS, they say it was a chaotic scene when they went to hit a targeted operation. They went to get this Venezuelan. According to ICE, he took a shovel, attacked one of their agents, and that's when shots are fired. We know he was hit in the leg and is expected to be okay.
There were no life-threatening injuries earlier in the evening. Minnesota Governor Tim Walz addressed the ongoing ICE presence in his state.

After the shooting there, Jacob Fry held a briefing. He had a warning for unruly protesters.
