It was a speech about patriotism, about what it what his country meant to him, what he believed it meant to a lot of people in the country.
And I think it was a very impressive piece of rhetoric.

Yeah, because there were yeah, I c I forget, but yes, there had definitely been discussion about whether they needed to reach for that emergency lever, essentially, because there was the the the even before the question was agreed on, at one point there was a discussion about whether there should be two options in this referendum, and the other option being what's um shorthand referred to as Dvo Max, i.e., more powers for the devolved Scottish Parliament in Edinburgh.
And indeed, ultimately we saw
Of did end up with a version of Devo Max because power in the years that followed the referendum, more powers have been devolved to the Scottish Parliament.
I mean not not actually not Max.

I mean, some people think you could have almost everything short of defence and foreign affairs and and and run your and entirely run your own taxation system, for example.
But I mean
Yeah, campaigners for an independence definitely say that they feel that the vow was was um disingenuous and misleading and even now um does not fully reflect what what what Scotland got for
