Yes, and some of that, a lot of that's within the control of President Trump, but not all of it, because there's an antagonist on the other side in Iran who have their own way of looking at things.
And indeed, we've had sort of mixed news today because the ceasefire is extended...
But at the same time, Iran has seized, I think, three tankers, Faisal.
So it must be very difficult for economists day to day to try to figure out what's going to happen next.
Is this going to continue to push up inflation?
Is this a spike that's going to come down?
You know, it must be really hard when there's such mixed messages from the real world, from the theatre of war, to know what's going to happen now.
And one other thing, Faisal, interest rates.
Where does this leave the debate in the Bank of England about what to do?
Because the feeling before the war was that gradually rates were coming down, things were getting back to normal.
As you say, that target of 2% inflation, it was perhaps, if not impossible,
imminently in sight.
It was a prospect.
Is that going to go into reverse?
Are interest rates going to go up?
What's the thinking in the city?
Well, the uncertainty, if nothing else, continues.
