I love a suffix that works, you know, with your with your matched

It it's great because so so often it is for forgotten just how diverse this industry is and how broad a range and spectrum of events that the term event industry can actually cover. matched

Yeah, I a and I'm so pleased that you've mentioned things like weddings today because event industry news at the start of this year uh uh announced that it was gonna r create a brand new area of the website specifically for the wedding industry. matched

Not for brides. matched

It's being recognised finally after many, many years, that people who are planning and executing weddings that with a two million pound budget, you know, they're planning an event. matched

They're doing exactly the same and people think, Oh, wedding industry, or it's a bit fluffy, they just walk around with a clipboard and a and an iPhone. matched

But they're planning events on the same scale, if not bigger, as any corporate event with bigger budgets. matched

I think the budgets. matched

And you get one shot. matched

I mean I'm not suggesting in in in corporate you you don't get one shot, but a lot of them are annual events, or maybe you know, you might do three or four a year and you think, okay, you know, that didn't quite go to according to plan, we'll rectify that next time. matched

Theoretically, the wedding is is it's it's it's a one and done matched

and done job. matched

well yeah uh the the area i mean it's a dedicated part of the event industry news website so if you go to eventindustry news dot com there is now a a dedicated sort of tab there and a dedicated section of the website for venues uh for weddings so you know if if if you if you go on if if you go onto the event industry news website you will you'll be able to find excuse me the the the wedding section um quite easily matched

And you know, th that that's built and it's it's fascinating to see just how many people contacted Event Institute News privately to say matched

We've been we've needed something, you know, to to to sort of you know connect us as an industry together. matched

Um and the response has been overwhelmingly positive since we said, look, we're gonna dedicate a a section of that because of course we when you look at things like venues, for example. matched
