Where...

You know, people want the story to sound greater than it was.

My dad was a legendary storyteller that I don't think half the stuff he told me was true.

I always think of the movie Big Fish, right?

Where the dad is a legendary storyteller and the son doesn't believe any of the stories that he told.

And then his dad dies eventually.

And at the funeral...

all the characters in the stories actually show up but they're not quite like the eight foot tall man is really only six foot six kind of thing right so anyway the point of that is that i do fact check these stories to make sure they happened uh i don't want you know sometimes over years especially if somebody's telling a story for 25 30 years ago they can get fictionalized all i've heard tons of stories that i've i've done checks on and found out they weren't actually true

Everything in beauty is... And I won't say the name, but there was one...

One chapter in the first book that when I fact-checked it, I found, like, everything was wrong.

Everything was wrong.

And I had to dump it in the end because it just didn't happen, right?

Great story when I heard it didn't happen.

So anyway, I do fact-check to make sure they happen.

Now, if there's a tiny bit of embellishment here and there, that's fine because that's part of the story, but...

I want everything in here to have actually happened.
