So how is he not the MVP?

You know what I mean?

That's true.

So everybody keeps saying Cade needs help.

They need this and they need that.

But they're the number one team in the NBA.

So either the other guys aren't as bad as people think, and I agree that they could use a secondary ball handler, right?

but they're the best team in the NBA.

And his second best player is a traditional center.

And his third best player might be Isaiah Stewart.

And then there's a Sarton.

Like we're talking about guys who are hard nose, play your ass off, but we're not talking about like 30, 40 point per game scores, right?

His second best player last year in their, in their postseason was Malik Beasley.

So for all the reasons we're trying to find out why the Pistons aren't the best team in the East or in the NBA, it kind of, to me, also proves Cade's point as why he's probably the MVP.

Again, it's between him, Jokic, and Shea to me.

And I think what Cade's doing, if they finish with the best record in the NBA, I don't see how he doesn't get it.

So I have a funny story with that.

When he got drafted, as you guys know, I don't know if everybody listens, I covered the Pistons for seven years.

I've been away for a year and a half, but I was there for Cade's first three and a half, three or four years.

When they drafted him, the front office, somebody in the front office told me he's going to be the first American born MVP.
