First of all, I I've said this from before the draft, well before the draft.
I think like if I'm going to like bring in a guard like Darius Acuff, then I I really would like to see a guy like Demonis Sabonis there to help stabilize the offense, uh, to set those screens to be the secondary passer, secondary ball handler, all that stuff.
I think he makes a lot of sense.
I don't know what that means for Max Raynaud and and uh
Dylan Cardwell, but you're still looking at like a multi time all star, a multi time all NBA player, a guy who led the league in rebounding three years in a row just a year ago.
Um where are you guys at with this and also the fact that uh that Domas switched from Wasserman where he had been for his whole career, I think, um, and went to CAA as his new representation.
I'm watching Emmanuel Sharp throw up those sideways three point shots and I'm like, that's a DHO game right there.
Like I want to see him with Darius Acuff setting screens and clearing space.
Um and giving uh inverting the the pick and roll, giving, you know, being the DH go DHO guy running.
I I think that it can work.
I don't think you have to do it all the time.
But I certainly see that there's a tremendous amount of value in it, especially since like you go back three years and you know, they went away from it.
When they went away from it, it didn't make any sense.
They had the best offensive rating in the history of the NBA and should have only gotten better at doing what they were doing and then they didn't.

Yeah, I kinda wanna see it though, because I I think the one thing that the DHO game does, number one, it makes the guard smarter in in and and it helps them develop a different skill set where it doesn't just have to be Darius Acuff dribbling and dribbling and dribbling and dribbling.
He can, you know, come off the screen, he can give the ball back to Domas, like he can
go reset himself somewhere else on the court and know that Domas is a great passer and we'll find him.
Um I think his mid-range game, it like just like the overall shooting touch that Acuff has, so much better than what Dearon Fox had coming into the league.
And I I think that that is actually a better pairing.
