Like, so when you got that core group of guys together, like you said, five, six, seven, eight years, hey, it's no longer about me figuring out what the hell I'm doing.
I'm trying to figure out what that corner doing on the other side so I could better help myself.
So I could better help the defense so that we all could get something done here.
Like we're trying to win championships.
The better I play, the better we play, the better we get paid.
Rather it's there or somewhere else.
But we all got to work together to do this.
And when you're able to stay together that long, you built that knowledge and understanding of what is going on.
And it's no longer about what you do because I can't know what I know better.
I can know what somebody else is doing.
That way, now everybody on the defense is like a quarterback.
Thousand percent.
You see what I'm saying?
If everybody on offense was a quarterback, everybody on defense was a quarterback, everybody knew what everybody was doing, how much better is that going to make your defense?
Well, you can't do that when you got guys that are just worried about what the hell they doing because they haven't even learned to pull a defense.
So now you're changing things so that you can fit them in there and not have them worry about too many.
When you look to your left,
and you look to your right and you guys are speaking the same language, y'all already expecting what's going to happen on the offensive side of the ball.
We already know what the defense is.
I'm here.
