Well, the thing about NATO is it sort of has to act in concert, largely through unanimity.

There are 32 members.

Obviously, the United States is a key player in that.

And you have a US president at the moment who has declared that he is the peace president.

He's going to end wars.

However, he started a big one in the Middle East.

And I think his administration would be very cautious before getting into any kind of direct NATO-Russia combat.

The counter argument that others put is saying, well, look, you know, all you're talking about is bringing down unmanned drones a few miles over Polish territory.

The advantage of that is it better defends NATO.

It also frees up Ukrainian air defences that can be used elsewhere.

It also, they say, would put Russia back in its box.

If NATO doesn't draw a red line like this, then Russia will continue pushing ever further.

Kramatorsk and Slovyansk are the biggest two cities still under Ukrainian control in Donbass and they are pounded relentlessly daily by Russia.
