In the end, I sort of think if you can innovate somewhere in that space and diving over people, I think that's okay.
I think the issue for hurdling people, that's different because your knee is leading and you're pretty much, every chance that your knee's going to hit someone in the head.
But if you're diving over, then you're not leading with your frickin' knee, are you?
Yeah, I mean, that's the whole issue, isn't it?
There's anomalies everywhere in rugby, and this is another one now.
But I think the whole idea with diving for the corner is that's always been there, you know, whereas diving over players, I don't think, I don't know, it's probably been something that's recently happened, you know.
Oh, actually, they used to run over rucks.
So it should be a penalty.
You are allowed to tackle those people if they're diving for the tri-line.
It might say it in the laws.
You are allowed to tackle them.
Like suddenly when they're diving, it doesn't mean, hey, I've dived now so I've got immunity.
Well, some people have tried.
Just hire long jumpers and stuff, eh?
