That has nothing to do with my story.

Anyway, he turned up in Moscow one time.

And he was in a very sort of exalted state.

He had this kind of, as many people from that part of the world do, he had this very kind of rhetorical grand way of speaking.

And I said to him, I said, just to be nice, I thought, because I couldn't really think of much else to say.

I said, you should be a, I didn't say you should be a philosopher.

I said, you should be a prophet.

You should be a prophet.

And that was it.

That was all I said.

And then a few weeks later, his daughter, my ex-wife's friend, said, oh, God, he...

He was sort of like taken on the bus.

He was like making prophecies on the bus.

And he had to be taken into custody because he just believed himself to be a prophet.

Now, you know, I'm not putting on myself the blame for this transformation.

He was obviously on some kind of journey that I had no idea about already.

But still, you know, just maybe the framing was a little nudge in the wrong direction.

It's not so much to say you have to be careful.

It's just that words have a kind of delayed action power.
