And thanks for this council for all the hard work that got us here today.

Thank you, ma'am.

moratorium um for the 150 days i think it's extremely important that we um speak um tell people what they need to know versus what they want to hear and that we have a conversation based on truth and honesty about what we can and what we can't do certainly council member anderson is correct a lot of the framework will be shaped by state legislation in terms of how they

perceive this issue.

So I would encourage everyone here to also talk to your state representatives and your state senators in reference to that's where a bulk of this thing, the framework, the guardrails that we will work within will come from.

So I won't delay it any longer.

I think we need to take 150 days to pause.

And even for me, I've learned more about data centers in the last six weeks

than I ever knew, right?

And so even for this 150 days, for me to be better educated about what we can, what we can't do, the impact, certainly the number one goal is protecting neighborhoods and communities, right?

adjacent to the stadium freestanding by the north gate correct on land that's not currently being activated not currently and so it's in district two and council can can certainly have a perspective my perspective is this is really within our entertainment district right it's it's a small swath

city controls it, works with our partners who, part of the carowinds is on the North Carolina side too, so it's like in the middle, right?

And so I hope that we would, I thought this was going to be a no-brainer when I read it through the weekend, but I hope that we can, Mr. Manager, you said two weeks.

Well, they made a contribution as well.
