I'm good.

Interesting times in Toronto and Vancouver right now.

Pretty surprised.

Yeah.

I first started hearing John Chayka's name more than a month ago.

And initially I was skeptical that he would get very far in the process and let alone, you know, come out on top.

And it's interesting with John Chayka though.

I mean, the New Jersey Devils flirted with hiring him for years.

You know, he, he was again, the candidate for them, you know, before they, they settled on Sonny Meda as their GM.

And, um,

The thing that everyone says about John Chayka is that he's a good talker.

He's a smooth talker, and he can really impress people.

He certainly impressed the Coyotes there when he went in there as a young man, and obviously he's impressed Keith Pelley with Toronto, and he impressed the Devils as well.

So he's got a way with billionaires and big corporations, and that's landed him the opportunity here with the Leafs.

We're going to hear about that today.

I'm sure a lot, you know, Keith Pelley has been, hasn't been talking to us.

So I don't, I haven't gotten his rationalization for why he decided to make the hire, but I think it's fair to say that they think he's, he's going to do a good job.

So they were willing to overlook what happened.
