it turns out that that was not a bag of cans it was just a bag full of towels which people were quite disappointed of he said obviously that period of time didn't just have a massive impact on him it also had an impact on his family and one of his daughters has told him that Ireland is one place that she could actually see herself living out of everywhere in the world that they have travelled and Tom Holland
obviously had to try and get in the action as well and expressed about how he had you know has Irish roots and had been back and forth to Ireland throughout his like younger lives and his grandmother Teresa Quigley was from from Tipperary and then spoke about kind of the joy he'd had I think in 2016 filming a movie called Pilgrimage in Galway with John Bernthal and I sort of like actually watching John Bernthal fall in love with Ireland and become sort of someone who kind of really loved culture was like
really affirming for him as someone who kind of had those deep, deep roots here.
But yeah, so it is kind of a nice good news story and it brings back up a kind of like a very positive moment from COVID.
And Matt Damon overall, you know, even when he is sort of, you know, trying to educate, being educated by his daughters on the use of the F word, he just seems like a nice bloke.
And is he growing into the spotlight now?
Okay, well that is going to be one of those stories he'll be able to tell as a sort of a young adult.
That will be very impressive.
yeah no I do think that was and I think that you know that that that's a very relatable kind of feeling of like it was a time of hardship but then there was pockets of times where people like I certainly look back at those early moments within within COVID and I had like sort of just a blessed time sitting out in the back garden and the house I was living in at the time like you know drinking Aperol spritzes with my friend who I was living with and it's like that was such a lovely moment that still makes me very angry yeah

They do never end I feel like sort of you know whatever month of the year that I'm here talking about this there is like an awards there's an awards show to be talked about either
Nominating people or awarding people and yeah so the Emmys which are which I do always think of like award season as being kind of that period kind of from January through to March but obviously the Emmys are kind of out of step with that so they happen in September and the ceremony itself will be on the 14th September in Los Angeles.
and this is sort of tv's biggest night so this is kind of celebrating um all of your favorite dramas comedies reality tvs hosts and personalities so this is kind of what is going on and i think that like they're really in the last couple of years we're in kind of a bit of a golden era for tv so there's so much there uh to to kind of to to celebrate uh so the the piss and hacks really dominate like they're the two shows that are like absolutely dominating and i don't think this is
much of a surprise because I think that they kind of have been well certainly the pit the pit this is the second year for the pit and it really started strong and I think it's continuing that that trajectory and hacks came to sort of a sort of a an incredibly acclaimed close this year after was it six seasons seven seasons five seasons
And so, yeah, so The Pit has 25 nominations and Hacks has 24.
