this was obviously this song was originally on Fender's solo album which was released like last year and this version with Olivia Dean was on a remix version that came out in June of last year and Sam Fender has credited Dean with the success of this song by saying that Olivia putting the alternative narrative on it made it a really universal song that opened the floodgates that there's two sides to this story and it's about her that has made it into a banger it's a million percent her and like you know no disrespect to Sam Fender but like as you say
