the the the australian new zealand um history of performance but yeah so very sad he spoke at one point about his uh this was about the trajectory of his career where he had been auditioning for and in the running to be considered for for a james bond and i actually think you know you could see him there alongside like sir pierce pierce rosnan and but ultimately he said he was relieved not to get that because he didn't want the loss of privacy or celebrity that comes with the role the other thing that i have seen across sort of social media yesterday

is so many videos from his farm so he he owned a farm i think in new zealand where he sort of cared for for for sick animals and for abandoned animals and there's loads of lovely videos of him like walking along with his little pig friend who followed him everywhere and just

He seemed like a lovely person.

I also did the due diligence and check that he was, he is indeed an ally.

He campaigned for gay marriage in Australia and called out the Australian government for their lack of, for the lack of movement and for dragging it out for so long.

So yeah, very sad.

And he was Irish.

Yeah, exactly.

I love big hair yeah but anyway yeah she died at the age of 75 and this I think is more like not more tragic no death is more or less tragic but obviously Bonnie Tyler was you know still out on tour until very recently had you know had an entire slate of dates tour dates lined up right up until the end of this year when I think she was due to finish a tour in Wales over New Year's but

A couple of weeks ago now, I think it was, she had to have emergency intestinal surgery in Portugal, in the Algarve in Portugal, where she lived.

And obviously something went wrong within that and she was put into an induced coma for a number of weeks.

She was recently taken out of that and then died quite recently.

shortly after that and I think that as with all sort of you know deaths of sort of you know very well-known people kind of you know the this moment has kind of really kind of brought into focus the impact that that she has had and sort of I think it sort of reminded people of kind of you know what an icon that she really truly was known for this absolutely incredible voice and sort of you know I mean

so much focus on, on sort of, you know, say holding out for a hero or, or total, but like, I think a lot of her, a lot of her kind of back catalog has been, has been highlighted in the work she did with, with, with, with other artists as well.

And seems to, again, have just been someone who kind of was really well liked within, within the, the industry.

So kind of a lot of her kind of people that would have been her peers at the time, like sort of shaking Stevens, Cliff Richards, Brian Adams, and Rod Stewart all come out to, to sort of, I suppose, speak to, to their experiences of, of, of working alongside her and what sort of a,
