So I...

Well, I think that's the question that we should be addressing ourselves to with some urgency.

Because I believe in business.

You know, I love business.

I love markets because they keep you honest.

And I love business because it is actually... What is business?

I think in some ways it's a venue to organize the ingenuity and brilliance and talent of humans.

I think that with capital available to put behind whatever they want to do.

Business solves problems.

Business is a problem-solving machine.

And what problem is it looking to solve is looking to solve the problem of how to make as much money as it can.

Institutional businesses.

I recognize that a lot of SMEs, you know, there's hundreds of thousands of SMEs in this country which are owner-operated, that they reflect the character of their owners.

There's family business communities, there's B Corps.

So I'm not talking about, you know, you need to be careful, but...

I'm talking about institutional business, institutionally owned capital markets business, institutional investment and businesses owned by institutional investors, whether that's private equity or public markets.

They're there to make money.

And I just think it's the wrong...

thing to ask them to do.

I think we've created the most powerful engine of progress and we've asked it to do the wrong thing, which is why we now have planetary collapse, we have geopolitical collapse, you know, governments are now so indebted that they need to ask the bond markets before they can basically make a decision.
