So she can't get it.
Lunchtime comes and she says she shows up at the Chinese restaurant and he's not there.
So she starts calling and leaving voicemails.
One is, hey, honey, I'm here at the restaurant and you're not.

and that Alan was showering but never mentioned anything about him having to pick up a car that morning.
