Well, I'm very struck by you saying you've made specific decisions not to make investments.
There were two or three things there that you said would have delivered growth and more jobs that you decided not to do because you had this sort of Damocles potentially hanging over your business where you'd have to find a huge sum of your son or your children
wife or whatever, would have to find huge amounts of money to pay your inheritance.
It's interesting to me that this was originally introduced, as you said, 50 years ago by Labour government, by Dennis Healy.
Yeah, absolutely.
So he could see this problem.
Yeah, yeah.
And it obviously wasn't changed by the Blair government.
Gordon Brown and Tony Blair left it in place.
They could probably see this problem.
Yeah.
So that's the danger.
