Everything he did for this game against Sweden seemed to work out.

Somerville got dropped from the starting lineup.

He put on Brian Brobbey, who responded with a brace pretty much immediately.

He then brought on Somerville in the second half after an early drinks break had seen Sweden do a bit of a tactical rejig and regain a bit of control in the game.

Then halftime, the controversial halftime rehydration break,

then saw Ronald Koeman re-establish dominance by putting Somerville on and taking off for Daniel Marlin.

And then Somerville gets a goal and Cody Gakpo gets a brace.

Basically, everything came together for the Dutch.

You felt pretty impressed, I think.
