I want to be fair.
The problem is their spouse is in another lawyer's office saying, I wanna be fair, and they have totally different definitions of what's fair.
And that's where the challenge is.
But I tell every single client in the initial consultation, as does every reputable attorney, Laura, John Titler, Bob Cohen, all the good ones.
We all tell them the same thing behind closed doors.

And what you do in this process is gonna dictate if that's the wedding where you guys can't pass each other by the shrimp boat or you'll throw shit at each other, or if it's the wedding where the wedding I just had, where you all stand around for pictures together and you have a drink and you have a dance and you go, you know what?
We didn't get the marriage right, but man, we did a good job with these kids.
Like, and you celebrate as a family.
Like, to me, that should be the goal.
