Whereas in the, you know, we've interpreted it to mean that, you know, Jesus was born with no sin and that she was a virgin.
Like, and I actually kind of like the idea that Mary wasn't a virgin.
And then in fact, maybe she was having sex and wasn't married.
Like that would fit with Jesus because Jesus was
always hanging out with prostitutes and criminals and people that everybody hated and saying, oh no, they're just like us.
I'm here for these people.
So I thought, oh, if I'm God and I'm gonna send a messenger to give my message to the world, I'm gonna have him born of adultery in a manger.
I'm gonna have him be like a total rebel, like a total, no one would think this guy is gonna be the guy.
And that's part of the message.
Like part of the message was he's not, you know, anything special.
He was just a dude.
He's a carpenter.
