If we looked at that more honestly, I think we would, again, we'd love ourselves better, we'd love our partners better.

I think that's one of the great things about deep romantic connection is that, again, you learn to love yourself differently when you're loved.

You know, I really think the most radical notion of Jesus was not, you know, like the most radical notion of Jesus was like, you will be transformed by loving, not by being loved necessarily.

And by the way, being loved is transformative, but like by loving, like loving other people,

and connecting to other people and radiating love to other people and recognizing that like,

the love that you gave your mother and she gave to you, and you don't get to give to each other anymore.

That love is still there.

It's still a power.

It's still a force.

You can give it to someone else.

In the Bible, in the Gospel, Jesus on the cross looks down to Mary, his mother, and to Peter, his best friend, his closest disciple, and they're weeping because he's dying.

And he says, mother, behold your son.

Son, behold your mother.

Think about how beautiful that is.

Like the sentiment, because what he was saying is, I'm gone, but you can be for each other

what we were for each other, because I'm going to be gone.

But you can be this for each other.

Love doesn't have to die.

Love can be transformative.

Love can be shifted.
