Given the weekend we just had, any chance that Murph's surprise guest can just come on early?

It's not like we have much Ireland to talk about.

It was tempting after what played out in front of us at Thurles.

It's not a nice feeling if you're not a Cork supporter and Killa is playing in the background as you walk out.

Especially after six goals have just gone in during the game and it could have been a lot more than that given...

The fifth goal went in a few minutes into the second half, I actually thought.

I was thinking this could get to Leash 2010 territories when Cork scored 10 goals.

I was thinking it could actually get to that at one point.

And then Cork got a little bit sloppy, Murph.

I think they were affected by the fact that the game was no longer a contest.

So what happened there?

So obviously I didn't get to see any of this.

Was this, because I knew this was going to be a problem, given the amount of games that have gone to extra time, that that actual 25 minute, 30 minute overlap was always going to be a problem.

So did that mean they didn't show the start of the hurling?

Yeah, 12 starters and three came on.

And the only reason that was in my mind is because during the week, these are the things you look at.

I went back, looked at the 2023 programme from the under-20 final between Cork and Offaly.

And basically, 14 of the players who were involved that day were involved today in the panel.
