We're already at a point where we're coming from a very low base of the amount of elite teams that are there.

And if we decide to just cut off more teams, like the John McDonagh is a really good competition, by the way.

But the reality is that for the general public, they only care about the top end of things.

Yeah, as a few people have pointed out in the comments there as well, there were double digits across Munster this season.

It's not like as if we had this hyper-competitive Munster Championship, and I know Murph has reeled off some of them there, but that is the reality.

And Martin Furlong, who is a Wexford man, has said, look, you'll have Wexford, Kilkenny, Dublin back one day, things go in cycles.

And look, they do to an extent.

And you said this last week, Scallion, and I was thinking about it when I was reading some of the comments on it, that...

I remember, geez, on this pod when we started, and I know our pod kind of started at the very zenith of Limerick's strength.

But I remember us having conversations in year two or year three, and people were saying, will anybody catch Limerick?

And that being said, genuinely, that wasn't just a sensationalist thing at all.

Yeah.

Ah, look, and very fair point here from Tommy Walsh, not that Tommy Walsh.

Dublin in football is a great example.

Leinster football is a joke for years now, it's excellent.

And it has become really exciting.

And there probably isn't a team in the Leinster Championship who are anywhere near that Dublin team of complete and utter dominance.

But...

I remember, again, conversations going on not that long ago, probably going back to around 2019 or so.

It was like, will the Dubs ever not win a Leinster Championship again?
