I went, do you know what?
There's an awful lot of questions here about rules you'd like changed.
Not questions about like how would you grow the game in certain areas or whatever.
So they're going to end up having a committee that basically ends up going off to look at that as opposed to looking at how to develop the game.
There's so much work to go on.
But I also think it's not a case of just giving up because Offaly and Dublin take a trimming on a weekend.
That's a terrible idea as well.
You can't just go, well, let's just write the Leinster Championship off or let's just say those counties are never going to catch up because that's just silly.
Because last year you would have said Limerick were beaten by Dublin, so Dublin must be ready to make the breakthrough.
It has to be a much longer, wider view of things.
But yeah, I don't know.
I mean, I'm a little bit worried that it will just become a rule change thing and we end up discussing hand passes again and we end up discussing balls going back to the goalkeeper and stuff like that when Hurling has got much wider issues.
Not that they both can't be done, but I just really worry that what's going to come out of that committee is, here are the 15 rule changes that we think hurling needs right now to make it brilliant.
And there'll be a feeling out there that because football changed some of the rule changes and it became a much better sport, I actually thought that like, for the best part, hurling only needs minor tweaks.
And most of these are reasonably experimental anyway.
So let's see what happens.
Gentlemen, it has been good as always.
The gauntlet has been firmly laid down to you, Scall.
Get a former hurler on.
Don't try and overthink this.
