It's entertaining now, but it was an entertaining book for this period of time.
And, uh, that somehow we do, uh, get back to, uh, you know, the gentlemen and gentlewomen's, uh, version of politics where.
I can sit down at the Thanksgiving table, talk about an issue and not have anybody walk away or get upset, you know, and really retreat to their sides.
I want to be in a situation where the information flow is, you know, balanced and people hear both sides and that influences their thoughts and behavior.
That's what I hope.
I think, you know, much like Bill Maher said on the show, I mean, you know, in the book, I tried to reflect that there's humanitarian corridors.
There's things that have to come together.
There's a shared Navy.
I think just for the defense of our country, we need to have a way to, you know, stay somewhat working together, somewhat unified, regardless if, you know,
California against Alabama, right?
We need to be able to look at who we are as a people and unify enough for protection against the other world powers that are sitting back and really enjoying this division.
You're not wrong in that at all.
And I think I even I reflect on it for small parts in the book.
You know, I think in the book, you know, in order to stabilize the economy, the economy, we invite some elements in from the outside.
And you will see, you know, that that influence is kind of a cycle.
Right.
That's part of the cautionary tale is, you know, if we do split, it's going to harm us economically and, you know, harm who we are.
But also we're opening the door for the adversaries to have more influence than they should.
I think, you know, again, I don't know if it taught me anything differently.
