Um it's it you know, the generational divide is real, but when you hear like one of our listeners writing in and saying, I'm cancelling the kids' activities, really cutting back, voice-verified

You know, you get a bit of a visceral sense of the pressure that some households are under. voice-verified

And Mark, you're right, the RBA's primary tool for controlling spending, it's not working like it used to for lots of different reasons that we've discussed today, you know, that government spending that doesn't care where rates are, that AI spending that doesn't care where rates are. voice-verified
