We played our worst final out of all the finals that Leinster have been in in Europe.

The worst performance was Bilbao that we won and

No one remembers that.

They actually played better in three out of the four finals after that and lost against a team that were just slightly better.

One more moment in and I'd say the only one that you could really criticise is the home final against La Rochelle.

I think they flew out of the blocks but there's no defending how they let that game slip versus the other finals.

it's just a moment and the whole game flipped in the moment yeah and we just felt like hell for it was a scrappy game and not one like you wouldn't want to watch that game back like it wasn't one to remember apart from the final whistle going and it was just a feeling of relief

that we've managed to kind of stumble over but we've done enough and that's all people remember there's no lesson out of that is there like in terms of playing well and losing and not playing well and winning for the likes of Issa and Johnny and stuff like that we prepped just as well as they had for other finals and we did for finals after that and some go your way and some don't and

I do think that there's something about these games that there's a psychological aspect to it's your final warm-up game, it's Benetton, that decision-making isn't quite on point.
