So I get fat, I put on weight, and then I try and lose it as fast as I can.
Just like at the end of last year, so I'm weighing about 93 kilos right now.
I got back in December last year, and I was 110.
So that's pretty, for me, that's pretty heavy.
So I spent the Christmas period, so December, January, besides Christmas day, because mama cooks on Christmas day, so you've got to eat, right?
But I was dieting all through that period and training twice a day, you know, not eating much, a lot of protein shakes, a lot of salad to try and drop the weight because you've got to be
And believe it or not, to be a good competitive eater, you've got to be relatively fit.
Yeah, so I guess, look, and I do speak about this a lot.
So for everyone playing at home,
Um, firstly, I think any sport, yes, in America, competitive eating is a sport, but any sport or any, any field that you're in, if you want to be great, there's an element of not healthy.
You know, if you want to be great at a sport, you've got to be obsessed.
If you want to be great in your, your, your career, you've got to be obsessed, right?
Whether it's lack of sleep.
But to be honest, my biggest achievement in competitive eating generally is being able to provide for my family.
My wife is a stay-at-home mom.
She gets to travel when she wants with me or whatever.
So my biggest achievement is actually being able to provide for my family through this crazy life of competitive eating.
To be honest, I love donuts.
My world record is actually 70 donuts in eight minutes.
So when it comes to sweets, I've got to be very careful.
