You could you could sort of self play it out and you could actually see how the them you know what the reward is at the very end.

It's sort of like a there's a deterministic reward at the end.

But for these open ended scientific projects.

The reason why it's much harder than games is that it is open ended, right?

The experimental validation, like really until you do it, you don't really know what's gonna work or not.

Like there's no notion of like you can self-play out and see the real world experiment, like because that part is still not like automated.

And it's also just a lot more uncertainty.

Like those decisions are very consequential, that really affects the entire research direction, right?

And we only get to do it once, at least for now, right?

So I think in that sense it's actually a also could be potentially like a harder kind of decision to make.

Yeah.

So one nice thing about these virtual agents is that their meetings are much faster than our meetings, right?

So in the time that we sit around and introduce each other and have coffee, they've already had hundreds of meetings.

And the other nice thing is that the virtual agents, they don't get tired, right?

So what actually we do is that in the virtual lab, every main decision is actually we

do multiple meetings in parallel.

So basically every key decision that we want the agents to make, they actually run five meetings in parallel.

They would discuss this topic, the same topic five different times in parallel.

And then they reach some sort of consensus.

And it's actually pretty interesting that you know different parallel meetings sometimes end up with different suggestions, different decisions.
