It was scary at first.

I was nervous because my body had changed after having babies and I wasn't sure what I was capable of anymore.

And I wasn't sure if I would be welcomed back into the world of dance after so many changes in my own life.

And I found that I was welcomed back.

I ended up taking a class from a teacher that I'd taken from when I was younger.

And she recognized me and welcomed me back.

And the other classmates were very welcoming and kind.

And my body remembered how to move.

I wasn't quite as flexible or strong as I'd once been, but it was coming back to me.

And then just that joy of movement, that feeling of freedom through dance, it started to change things.

And then the more my body and mind healed, the more I was dancing, and it started to just really click back into place for me.

I really enjoyed trying anything that people were willing to teach me.

So I took a lot of jazz.

I loved hip hop.

I was horrible at tap when I was younger, but I did like to try.

I'm actually trying tap again.

I'm taking tap classes again to try and it's clicking a little better now.

Let's see.

I did ballroom, ballet, lyrical and contemporary music.

Uh, like just about anything.
