He understood, like, this is a really good veteran team that's won a Stanley Cup before.
They just need maybe a different voice and a different message.
It's not necessarily easy to kind of come in with that level of humility about what you're supposed to accomplish.
But I think he's understood the assignment.
Well, I think back and I'm not saying that he would be the right person for the role at this point now, but we saw this Bruce Boudreau in Vancouver a few years ago, right?
And eventually got to the point where the tactics were just so deficient that they had to make a move as well.
But there was a moment of time where it's just like they just needed a different message and a different voice and a different tone.
And in that case, it was the regular season, but
Boudreaux came in and had the right you know had those those correct vibes again I'm not saying that he should be you know on the list for coach for teams looking to make this kind of coaching change but it's interesting because we've seen this happen a lot in the regular season I think and now Vegas is showing hey you can get this kind of bump in the postseason as well all right we lost Shannon we'll let her go but we appreciate her sticking with us

And I do think either goalie is going to be in a little bit tough now to win it.
And I know, look, goalie is always a bit of a safe choice.
But with the rate the goals have been going in in the first two games, I think it hurts their candidacies.
Still got to be the favorite, I think, with his performance and his production for Vegas.
If Carolina wins the series, I'm going to be fascinated to see who ends up bringing home the cons.
