No, it's like anyone who can do it should get the rule book.
Yeah, exactly.
Right.
Should get that ability to, to show what they can do.
people that wouldn't have had opportunities and other organizations a chance to really flourish and show what they have like that's the biggest thing to me yeah and I think the thing that stands out to me about Carolina's approach is it's the the combination of that kind of stubbornness and persistence but also a level of flexibility right where it's adding players like Ehlers and you know Taylor Hall and the skill on top of the system they built I just think in general one of the hardest things to do
in sports is like accurately diagnose what went wrong when you have a big disappointment it's so easy to overreact and be emotional or it's so easy to just be completely stubborn and do no self reflection and we're like we're not going to look in the mirror at all and I think Carolina was really able to thread the needle of okay we have a ton of success in the regular season we win playoff series there's a hump we can't get over at this stage of the playoffs how do we address that without throwing out what got us here it's so tough to do for organizations and they were able to do it
Yeah.
And that's why I don't have a lot of time for the, like, Oh, it was an easy path to the cup.
storyline as a way of detracting from them because yeah you can say like hey they avoided some really really good teams but they also took care of business against the bad teams like very handily like they were dominant in this play in the Stanley Cup run so yeah it was relatively easy easy I hesitate to even use that word when you're talking about winning the Stanley Cup but they also dominated the teams they did play
Imagine if Conor Bedard is a 650 listener.
That'd be incredible.

Is that what it's called?
All right.
There's a lot more I want to get into around the Stanley Cup and the Carolina Hurricanes.
And more Blackhawks.
So much more Blackhawks lender as well.
