And I think it is a radical shift, what we're discussing here, to actually encourage ambiguous, vague, uncertain actions as being functionally optimal.
This is the key thing, certainly that I'm proposing, is that it's not just aesthetic.
It's not just for a little bit of something different.
This is functionally optimal because of the fact that it plays tricks on the perception of the defenders.

And it's always... I always have this bugbear that it's... I mentioned it.
It's seen as wishy-washy.

it's not seen, it's not taken seriously as like data analysis.
If you make an aesthetic analysis of football, like some writers would do, oh yeah, this elegant, like a swan, the way they make, like all this kind of descriptions are not taken as seriously as let's say a quantitative assessment of the action, right?
In the football industry, people want numbers, right?
People want data.
But like at the same time, what's interesting is that
Ask any analyst or data scout or whoever is involved with the numbers.
Anyone who knows their stuff is going to say, well, yeah, but we need to do the eye test, right?
You need to watch the player.
And okay, but then so then the question is like, why?
